Village Idiot’s Sixth Anniversary Celebration

Today we are celebrating our sixth anniversary. And as is our annual tradition, we will be releasing a few chapters throughout the day!

As always, we’d like to spend some time to express our appreciation to those who have aided us. Thank you, everyone in Village Idiot, all the translators, cleaners, proofreaders, and typesetters, for working so hard every day. Again!! 78, Moteki 14 with SCS and Horimiya 8

We’ve been a bit slow with Again!! and super slow with Moteki but what can you do… Anyway, make sure to visit Supreme Cream Scans, our partners for Again!! and Moteki (go say hi to Pimelea, Ghost, Taka, Showdowmonk and thealphalink.)

Again, this chapter we got some help from Ryuusei No Mafia Scanlations, but they can’t do it all, we need some help cleaning and redrawing. If you enjoy this series and want to go back to weekly releases or try for even faster, please apply!

Really nice job to everyone that worked on this chapter, its one of the hardest series I’ve ever seen in every area. Probably be a while for the next chapter too. We need a cleaner that can redraw well to even start.

This is another annoying series to work on, so these people need a pat on the back too. I’m not sure when the next chapter will be out.

It brings me great pleasure to announce our fifth anniversary. (It seems I’m always in the right place and time to be the first to announce anything. XD) Over the past year, we’ve completed a few projects and picked up quite a few more, but what marked last year as being special is reaching our 1000th release! We have also gained quite a few staff members, though we still need more. What didn’t change was your support for us! And to celebrate that, we’ll be releasing a bundle of chapters today. I really wanted to thank all the staff for all their hard work, there were a few standouts that I want to personally mention. These are people that worked extremely hard this past week on projects I managed, They are Klauz Miene, Fenrill, Sjiveru, J-Rex, Savino, and KaiHeartnet. I also want to mention 3 staff members that worked hard but we weren’t able to release their work, and they are Abacus, Laika, and Raukcaran. I want all the readers to help me thank them too, I want to see more comments than releases guys, its not that hard to comment, we need the motivation.

Moteki Chapter 10 with Supreme

Chie usually handles this stuff but she is busy with real-life, so I’ll do it this time. It’s been awhile since we last had a Moteki release and that is because this series needs a cleaner and redrawer, I cleaned this chapter and Fenrill did a great job with the redraws (there’s like 2 redraws per page.) So once again we have Fenrill to thank for getting our stuff released.

ZeroDC turns a year older today and what is that I see? A Mitsurou Kubo double release! Yay!

We’d like to give credit to the staff from both groups, especially those who pitched in for cleaning and redraws in these chapters. As was mentioned in a previous post, the delay was due to us being short of staff in these departments.
