BAD NEWS: We’re dropping Unbreakable Machine Doll (Kikou Shoujo wa Kizutsukanai) with the release of this chapter. If you don’t know what’s going on, there’s a previous post that will more or less explain why we’re dropping the series.
GOOD NEWS: We’re picking up this series called Kanade. I personally think the lead heroine has a cute character design………
BEST NEWS: Apparently these three releases today don’t have watermarks.
We’re recruiting translators and cleaners. Only the best, please.
UPDATE: Beijing Chronicles ch 2 is now availlable without watermarks too

Hmmmm. Time to mention a few things regarding Kikou Shoujo (the japanese title sounds so much better than Unbreakable Doll)
1. Based on my knowledge, FTH actually decided to work on it before VI did. It’s just that VI released earlier and faster. Despite this though, since FTH already had intended to work on it, it cannot be said that the project was stolen.
2. They are not using the public raws. Therefore the chances of them scanning things that may not have been in the public raws seems possible.
3. In terms of quality: while I do admit that both groups did well, I would side with FTH for this. Though FTH’s quality isn’t perfect either, if I were to rate the two groups’ releases, I’d say that FTH did slightly better. Not that big of a difference, but slightly better nonetheless.
4. If they fully intend to work on it, then you guys dropping it really is the wiser option. FTH has less projects than VI from what I know, so balancing the number of projects this way is the better decision.
5. Leechers are leechers. Pretty sure that a few weeks from now they won’t really care who’s working on it anymore as long as they get their manga.
In the end: Great work. Wise decision. Now let’s see you continue to be awesome.
